David Edmundson on Wayland and Quake for blind people

My colleague and friend David Edmundson was interviewed recently on Brodie Robertson’s “Tech Over Tea” channel, and I seriously encourage everyone to watch it! David has a blog (which you should also read) but is far too modest to post about the interview there, so I’m doing it here. 🙂 The interview is long, but worth it. Check it out!

  1. I won’t lie, despite the mention of it here and there, I didn’t even know what planet.kde.org was or that it was a thing until I watched the full podcast. The telegram channel also have surprisingly low subscribers too – chaotic-aur’s channel has more subs, despite how many people are otherwise into KDE.

    1. Ah! I hadn’t even realized that existed. I think in general KDE people are not in the habit of using Telegram as a news reader or feed aggregator. Folks are more likely to use RSS or just visit the website directly.
